Chappell Roan finally gives fans “The Giver.” After debuting the land-spiking song beneath her Saturday Night Live Performance in November and then teases it again over the weekend with a call stunt, Missouri-native has finally announced when the track arrives.

“Ur ex’s worst nightmare + she gets the job done,” Roan and caption wrote in a photo of herself modeling his version of a lawyer’s clothing.
The message comes shortly after Roan HID suggests “The Giver” in a call stunt on her Instagram story, which caused fans to call the number (629) 468-8646 (alias “Hot To Go”) this weekend. They were then greeted with a voice menu that offers a number of options to reach a dentist, lawyer, plumber or construction services.
Hitting the settings took them to a trio with low-fi excerpt of the song that Roan with confidence noted her ability to “get the job done” and satisfy a female partner better than any man ever could. Under a spoken word part of the fiddle-reflected melody SnlRoan also boasted, “All of your country boys think you know how to treat a woman right. Well, only one woman knows how to treat a woman right. She gets the job done. “
The artist “Pink Pony Club” also teased “The Giver” through various advertising boards announcing his own faux legal services, two of which released photos of on his story on Tuesday. One in New York City read, “Ew … Someone had a little accident,” while another in the town of Angeles brand Roan “Los Angeles’ finest divorce lawyer.”
In his latest post, Roan also teased that more ads would go up elsewhere. “PS keep your eyes peeled, she may be on a billboard in your city,” she added.
“The Giver”, which has not yet been officially released, is Roan’s first new music since the release of Singer’s Grammy-winning 2023 debut LP, is The increase and fallen by a midwest princess. In one New York Times Interview last fall teased Roan manufacturer Dan Nigo that the twangy melody would be a “fun, uptempo country song” with a fiddle that would show a new side of the singer.
At the time, Nigro said he and Roan were already five songs to record her second effort, which he said would also include a “couple of ballads” and a “mid-tempo rock song.” Without saying too much, Nigro said that the Untitled Second LP would illuminate “a new version of Chappell.”
Following Roan’s best new artist acceptal speech at last month’s Grammy Awards, a number of powerful figures in the music industry have stepped down to help follow the singer’s call to support the future artist’s need for health care. Among those who have donated to the cause so far are Labelmate Sabrina Carpenter, Charli XCX and Noah Kahan, with Live Nation, AEG Global Touring, Wasserman Foundation and Hinterland Music Festival, which also joins the We Got You campaign.
