Why do more companies trust video interviews?
Hi, I’m Jeff Altman, Big Game Hunter. Yesterday I interviewed someone for job search radio that reminded me of something that I think I will. . . I would like to share with you. And that’s when everyone is fixed on networks online and they are fixed on LinkedIn groups as a place where you can get prospects and information and similar things they forget one thing.
And there is another place where there are large groups that are very active where you can create an impression. And these are Facebook groups. There are many Facebook professional groups.
And you just have to search for them using graph search on top of your side. So at home at the top, use the search area and try to get a search that goes after a tight a set of a list of criteria as possible. So you don’t just want to look for a job because you know if you are one, you will win up with the plumbing job or if you are a plumber, you can win up with the engineering job.
You won’t do it. You want to become as specific as possible, including location, to see if there may be some things in your city or area. So, for example, if I use the example from New York and I live in a small town in New Jersey, the likelihood of the small town having a group will be pretty small.
But I can try in northern New Jersey. I can try in New York City or New York as part of the search criteria. Get involved.
Become active. For example, if there are specific areas of the fact that you are interested in or have experience and you will network with others, go to the specific feature. Then try to look for something after location and see if you show up anything.
Otherwise just backtrack and go to the feature. But when everything is said and done, remember that Facebook also has groups. They are very powerful.

They are very effective. They are very talkative. Get involved.
