Le Sserafim scores his second # 1 at Billboard‘s top album sale card (dated March 29) as the ensemble’s new Warm debuting on top of numbers. The set sold 38,500 copies in the US in the week ending on March 20, according to Luminate, which marked the best sales week for the law. It is in all the fifth top 10 for the group that previously reached # 1 with its last chart input, 2024’s Crazy.
Also debuts in the Top 10 of the latest Top Album Sales Chart: New releases from Playboi Carti, Coheed and Cambria, Steven Wilson, Charli XCX and Charley Crockett.
Billboard‘s top album sales card ranks the best -selling albums of the week, which is based only on traditional album sales. The history of the card dates back to the 25th of May 1991, the first week Billboard Started tabulating charts with electronically monitored piece of information from SoundScan, now luminate. Clean album sales were the only measurement used by the Billboard 200 album diagram through the list dated December 6, 2014, after which this diagram switched to a method that blends album sales with track -equivalent album (TEA) devices and streaming equivalent album (SEA) devices.
The first week’s sale of Le Sserafims Crazy was strengthened by its availability of more than 20 CD variants (all containing collector’s object -efermera, some randomized). 98% of the album’s first week’s sale was from CD purchase. (The album was only available to buy as CD and a digital download.)
Lady Gaga’s Chaos Falls to No. 2 with 24,000 sold (down 82%) after debut of No. 1 a week ago.
Playboi Carti’s MUSIC Debuts at No. 3 with 14,500 copies sold – the rapper’s best sales week. It was only available to buy as a digital download in its opening week-a widely available standard 30-song sets, as well as three variants that are exclusive to the artist’s official webshop (the variants each have between one or two bonus tracks each).
Kendrick Lamar’s card topping GNX Climbs 6-4 with almost 13,000 sold (though down 18%).
Coheed and Cambria Watches Sine 11. Top 10 Carding Outlines on Top Album Sales, such as The Rock Outfit’s latest album The Father of Make Believe Arches of No. 5 with 12,000 sold. Its first week’s sale was helped by the album’s availability across five vinyl variants, a CD, a widely available download version and two cassette tapes.
Sabrina Carpenters earlier No. 1 Short n ‘cute a ring rises to No. 6 by 10,000 sold (though down 13%).
Steven Wilson lands his first Top 10 Carding set on the top album sales as his new studio effort The overview Entered on No. 7 with nearly 10,000 sold-his best sales week since 2015. The album was available in three vinyl variants, a standard CD, a deluxe box set, a Blu-ray sound, a cassette tape and two download editions.
Charli XCXS Remix Album Abruptly and it’s completely different – consists of only remixes of material from her Abrupt Studio Album – Debuts at No. 8 with just over 8,000 sold, exclusively from vinyl sales.
Chappell Roan’s former leader The increase and fallen by a midwest princess Dips 8-9 on the top album sale with 8,000 sold (down 8%).
Charley Crockett ends the top 10 with his new album, Lonely changeDebuted at No. 10 with almost 8,000 sold – his best sales week ever. It is the first top 10 for the artist and eighth mapping kit in general. The kit was available across four vinyl variants (including a signed version), a standard -CD, download and a cassette tape.
