Miley Cyrus responds to the family’s feuds rare in rare statements

Miley Cyrus puts family first. On the heels by dropping her new single, the ballad “More to Lose”, the singer released a statement on Saturday (May 10) in response to rumors of a rift with parents Tish and Billy Ray.

“I rarely comment on rumors,” Miley noted in an update that was shared via Instagram story in her official account. “But my mom and I are too tight to all that ever comes between us. She’s my best friend.”

“Like many mothers, she doesn’t know how she works on her phone and somehow followed me – gathered, randomly and unattractive,” she said, referring to mumbling that Tish had reportedly followed her on the social media app earlier this week.

Her statement continued: “My father and I have had our challenges over the years. Now, in my thirty, the family is my priority above all else. I am at peace by knowing that bridges have been built and time has done a lot of healing.”

“Grateful for the good health and love that flows through my family,” Miley concluded her message.
