Fresh from the back of his early exit from Saturday Night Live Over the weekend, Morgan Wallen has launched a new line of “Get me to the land of God” markets.
Launched Tuesday (April 1), the new merchants are rather simple, consisting of a white shirt and a hat, with the latter available in two different color variants. All objects have the same design, but with the Coors logo worked in a design that carries the words “Get me to the land of God.”
Despite the time of Merch -Drop, the Club Wallen Instagram account has assured fans that it is not part of an April Fools’ Day.
The beginning driving comes only a few days after the expression increased prominently after Wallen’s early walk-off from Saturday Night Live. After performing a few songs from his upcoming album, I’m the problemWallen joined briefly to Snl Cast at the end of the show, as is customary in the long-lasting sketch-comedy series. Then he whispered something in the host Mikey Madison’s ear, gave her a hug and suddenly went off the stage in Studio 8h.
Shortly after the incident, Wallen shared a photo on his Instagram stories from his private aircraft, entitled “Get me to the land of God” written over a picture of the runway.
Given the somewhat mysterious nature of the expression and the quick launch of the ward line, it is currently unclear whether the slogan is part of Wallen’s new album, or something else hero. The upcoming record, I’m the problemPlanned is released on May 16 and contains a total of 37 numbers, although only a handful of their titles have been released to date.
In an interview with Entertainment weekly After Wallen’s walk-off, the long-standing role crew Kenan Thompson said the incident was “definitely an increase in the norm.”
“We are so used to everyone just turning around and fucking us, everyone says, ‘Good job, good job, good job.’ So when there is a departure from it, it’s like, hmm, I wonder what it’s all about? ”Thompson added and noticed that Prince had done the same thing in the past during his performance on the show.
“I’m not saying that Morgan Wallen is Prince, but we were not surprised because Prince was notorious kind of standoffish. That’s just the way he was. So we just thought like,” okay, now he’s gone back in fantasy land. ”” ”
Wallen does not yet comment on the public incident or gives information about the meaning behind the term.
