Microsoft has joined Facebook in announcing that they are or have fired bad artists. In Microsoft’s case, a story reports that some were fired without warning. People were told not to report to work and were locked out of their computers. I could have wrong, but I think this is the second time in the last few years that they have been shopping to lock people out of their computers.
It is a reason to store a copy of all your performance reviews at home to protect yourself from being bacconly at the time you are laid off. After all, a company can make this statement and now everyone thinks you were a bad artist.
Have evidence at home that you were not and consult an employment attorney. After all, the world will think that you were a bad employee and don’t want to interview you, so much less to hire you. In addition, demand placement services are at least 6 months (preferably 1 year) to be able to ride out of the bad advertisement that may interfere with you finding a job.
