Prosecutors submit movement to revoke Young Thug’s probation

Fulton County District Attorney’s Office has requested that Young Thug’s probationary time be revoked, according to a proposal submitted Wednesday (April 3).

Thug (whose real name is Jeffery Williams) ended a long criminal case in October 2024, when he pleaded guilty to charges directed at him. The case, which was built around Georgia’s Racketeers, influenced and corrupt organizations (Rico) law, claimed that Thug and his alleged YSL gang had committed murders, carjackings, drug trafficking and many other crimes.

At the end of the trial, Thug was sentenced to 40 years by five to be prisoned in prison commuted to the time earned. As a result, he got 15 years of probation, with another 20 to be commuted if it is completed.

However, a new movement has been submitted in Fulton County Superior Court, which has seen the state of Georgia request Whitaker revoke Thug’s probationary period, claiming that his “continued presence in society under trial supervision poses a clear and current danger to public security and undermines the rule of law.”

Sore Channel 2 Action NewsThe essence of archiving is about what prosecutors have felt “escalating threats and witnessing threats.” They note that Fulton County investigator Marissa Viverito is in the process of testifying in a “multi-speed gang-murderous consultation”, which has seen the court order testify not to appear on TV while testifying. However, a user on social media published a photo of Viverito online with a caption that said, “She won’t be displayed on screen? Well, here she is.”

Tuesday (April 1) Thug is alleged to have shared a side-plated repost picture and pair it with a caption that claims “Marissa Viverito is the biggest liar in the DA’s office.” According to the filing, the post was “fast viral”, resulting in over two million views and resulting in “direct threats to investigator Viverito and her family.”

The archiving also claims that as a result of Thug sharing the post, the home addresses of Vivirito and her parents were distributed online, with a post that allegedly shared a picture of Vivirito’s mother’s house and said, “If the hatred is really right, then pull up her mama crib.” It is alleged that another post was divided later, which threatened the murder of district lawyer Fani Willis.

“The escalation from targeting a witness to witnessing a direct death threat against the chosen district attorney in Fulton County is a serious and unprecedented attack on the justice system,” archiving.

In response to the request for revocation of probation, Thug shared a statement about his X (formerly Twitter), in which he wrote, “I don’t make goodies for people, I’m a good person, I would never condolate someone who threatens someone or decided to join someone. I’m about peace and love.”

The filing claims that the behavior is a “calculated campaign for threats, harassment and incorrect information designed to undermine the legal process,” and has requested that the court take “quick and decisive actions by revoking the defendant probation and detaining them to custody without delay.”

Currently, no consultation date has been set. Meanwhile, Thug is scheduled to give his first performance after his June trial as part of Chicagos Summer Smash Festival.
