A healthy moment of shak

Shakira surprised a young fan named Zoe, who is currently under cancer treatment. The dance studio Hip Hop Kidz and Sunrise Day Camp shared the healthy moment on Instagram and caught the moment the Colombian artist and her sweet fan met for the first time, opened gifts and even made “Waka Waka (This Time for Africa)”-the dance together.

“Despite the tough fight she has faced, Zoe’s mood rose as the international star took time out of her busy schedule to spend time with her,” the post text of the post read. “Shakira, known for her charitable work and deep empathy, shared some quality time with Zoe and encouraged her to stay strong and never give up.”

Billboard’s Latin artists to see 2025

This week, Billboard revealed its carefully curated Latin Artists’ to Watch List, which highlights 22 acts that caught our attention in 2024 and which we think will continue to have a breakout year. The list includes artists who cracked Billboard hit lists in 2024, such as Tito Double P, who got its first # 1 on Top Latin albums with his debut set. Artists who have been crowded with criticism, like Latin Grammy winner Ela Taubert, and the newcomers who first built a fandom on social media before starting a music career-like Reggaetón Mexa pioneer Bellakath, who quickly went from viral sensation to Bona Fide Hitmager. See the full list here.
