Stupid Salary Negotiation Error: To be for grateful

I’m back today with another of the tough interview questions designed to make you sweat balls – today the question is: “Oooooooooooh! Today’s question is,”What is your management style? “

In the United States, this has a very simple answer to it. Sometimes people get nervous because it’s an interview, it’s important, it’s their career and they have to get it right. They cannot root together. They become serious and therefore do not show their personality.

Here’s the right answer. Let’s work on the condition that you have an idea of the management style of the organization you are interviewing. If you do not, this generic answer that I will give you is very effective because in the US generally what companies are looking for. The first thing you say is that you are results -oriented. You are good at solving problems. You can take on the task and find out what to do. Results-oriented indicates that you are used to getting bottom line results. You are very good at getting results from the team. You are good at getting results from the organization and providing service to people so that they are able to get what they expect from you in this way.

Finally in the US, they like to see that you have a participating style. It’s like “I have an open door policy in my organization.” Talk about a participating management style, but also talk about limitations. Each good manager sets limits to the extent that they are willing to have an open door style.

Recognizes that each of these will involve the story. For example, result -oriented requires you to tell a story about how to get bottom line results. If you say that your task -oriented, talk about problems you solve. For a participating style, you talk about how having an open door policy in your organization allows you to avert problems, help solve them or teach people to solve their own problems so that your group this way got results.
