Some of you may think I’m sucking up. Some of you may cheer. No matter what camp you are in corporate recruiters, a bad rap has too many organizations and with too many people.
If you are a potential employee of a company, company recruiters are symbolized by the “evil” and “incompetent” recruits who just won’t let you interview the job you want and have applied.
If you are an employment manager, recruiting the same person who does not deliver enough resume to your insatiable quest for any person in the Western Hemisphere who is qualified to perform the job you need to be completed.
Wherever you are in a company, HR is often perceived as the company’s nag complete with gender stereotypes. After all, many women have dug to human resources and there is a kind of embedded memory of mothers or wives asking the men to do things.
“Get your (fill in the blank) and put it in the inhibitor.”
“When will you be at home? I expect you home at. 10am. “
“When will I get feedback about the person you have interviewed last Tuesday?” (That piece of shit?)
“I have submitted 12 resumes to you for the positions you say are urgent. When do I get feedback ”(oh them)?
“We have a new initiative and your input is important. When can I get a two-hour block of your time (somewhere between never and when hell freezes over)? “
I was looking for a photo for use with this article and searched more for free and paid photo sites, it was difficult to find one that did not involve a scene with a woman nagging a man.
Being a business representative for nagging and their staff is a terrible position to be put in.
Being the messenger who hides the creepy behavior of hiring leaders in your organization and taking brown of jobs Hunter -Friday is another tough position to be in.
I know many of you want nothing better than freeing the last loser you have interviewed, but your hiring manager refuses to make a decision on whether to interview them and now you are left to stop.
And then there is the question of the hiring manager who finds no one who “fits.”
Or the two groups that refuse to agree on what a candidate should know and have achieved and refuses to work with each other to solve what each one has to evaluate candidates for. You are left with a spec, where a group wants a polymer extrusion engineer, and another group wants the same person to know accounting!
And of course, it’s your fault that you don’t deliver candidates in sufficient numbers to them, so they complain to your boss who wants nothing better than left to her projects. UGLY Does not describe it.
These are company recruiters who do not respond to the servants and trainees who have applied for your latest position at C-level.
And it is the recruiter who may notice and draw attention to the biases that your employment leaders can have in their selection process and encourage/fool them to be more aware of them instead of always insisting on people with a degree from a particular foreign university who sends only a few hundred people to the United States each year.
And finally, the recruitment of companies is often the face of frustration for many third -party recruiters who “chomping on bit” for a small spread of good news about a candidate they have submitted or kept chess by a supplier management system looking for the rare message left on a message wall about the World Cup about how their candidate performed in their last interview.
So company recruiters have a thank -you job that gets really appreciates or appreciates.
But as I wrote in another article, if you need a friend, get a dog.
